Ride smarter with powerful assist mode technology.

With over 5 years of intensive research and development, the e-Bike assist system has been carefully optimised to deliver a revolutionary cycling experience.

Smart, versatile and intuitive technology, there’s a reason why cyclists love it. The 5 assist modes available on the app adapt to your speed, acceleration and slope of the road ahead.

5 modes available on the Thumb Control and App:

Manual Mode:

From here you can set your pedal assist level from 0 to 99 by dragging your finger across the screen. 0 stands for no assist while 99 stands for the strongest assist.

Commute Mode:

Under this mode, you will have a stronger assist level consistently throughout your journey, allowing you to commute with ease.

Leisure Mode:

This is designed to give you a leisurely ride with more pedal-assist coming into effect as the journey progresses.

The further into the ride, the more pedal assistance you receive. Each wave is half an hour, so at the end of each wave, the assist level will become stronger.

Exercise Mode:

This mode is designed to give you more exercise benefits from your ride so has a smaller assist output.

Each wave is 30 minutes in duration. The output starts high, then drops to a very low level, and picks up again towards the end of the 30-minute cycle.

Climbing Mode:

Easi-Fit removes the tough parts so that you can just enjoy the fun parts of biking.

In this mode, you can set the level of pedal-assist to depend on the gradient of the hills you’ll be riding up. The pre-set assist level will only cut in if the hill is above the set gradient.

For example, when you set a 40% pedal assist level and a 6 degrees gradient, the motor will only kick in to give a 40% pedal-assist when you are riding up a hill with a 6 degree or more gradient.

We never want to think about our bike being stolen, but to help prevent it, the kit has an anti-theft option.

Press the “padlock” icon on the main application screen – this will activate the alarm setting. If someone tries to move your bike, the alarm will sound and the wheel will lock in reverse. (Just remember to tap the padlock icon to deactivate when you want to ride the bike).

With over 5 years of intensive research and development, the e-Bike assist system has been carefully optimised to deliver a revolutionary cycling experience. This product is a versatile and cost-effective solution for those looking to enhance their biking experience.

A smart, safe and durable electric bicycle:

  • Anti-theft device: If your bike is stolen, the app will not only disable your bike, it will also track the location of your bike and help you recover it.
  • The micropower system offers intelligent assistance with intuitive induction brakes that have a response time of 10ms.
  • The Arm vortex-M3 main chip is a 6-axis gyroscope motion processing chip.
  • The 18650 power lithium battery offers consistency, high energy density, and faster charge/discharge performance.
  • Tried and tested over time, 80% capacity remains after 1000 cycles, making this high-quality lithium batter’s lifetime more than 5 years.
  • The bottle battery is small in size and shaped like a water bottle. It’s removable and super easy to take the battery out of the bottle to charge and you can even charge your phone through the USB port.

How big is the battery?

The battery is 300mm x 88mm.

How long will the battery last?

The battery is a high quality power lithium-ion battery, 36V, 5.8AH. It will last approximately 60km. But that does depend on various factors, including terrain, slope, your weight and how much you pedal.

Can I buy a spare battery?

Yes. We find the vast majority of people don’t need a spare, but if you want to go on very long bike rides you can charge a spare battery and take it with you. You can purchase a spare battery in the shop page of this website.

How long does the battery take to charge?

Approximately 3 hours at the mains. The battery comes with a charger.

How does the pedal assist work?

The kit has an “intelligent assist control module” which works in conjunction with a gyroscope calculating the power you need. It will assist you automatically when you are pedalling. The motor will not work until the speed reaches 5km/h. The system will increase the power when you go uphill and will shut down the motor when you are going downhill. When you brake, the system can detect the decrease of the speed, and will stop the motor.

If you push the thumb throttle the bike will be fully driven by electric power, but when you release it the pedal assist system will kick in again automatically.

How much does the kit weigh?

The entire kit weights 6.5kg. The battery is approximately 1.5kg.

Can I put the battery in my pannier instead of attaching it to the crossbar?

The battery holder must be positioned at an upward slope, therefore it’s best to be fixed on to your bike-frame. This is because there is a gyroscope inside it, which is part of the pedal assist technology.

What’s included in the kit?

Wheel with 250W motor, battery & holder, thumb controller & digital display, mobile phone holder, spare brake disc, instruction booklet, tools for installation (allen key and wheel spanner).

Do I have to use the thumb controller?

No. The thumb controller is your choice. We find that some of our customers prefer not to use the thumb controller and that’s fine, the bike will automatically work on the pedal assist mode.

Do I need a mobile phone to operate my bike?

No, using your mobile phone is your choice. If you want, you can download the WePower app, where you can set the pedal assist mode, see the speed, temperature, battery level and mileage covered. But this is entirely optional, and the bike will function perfectly without it.

What if I don’t know my wheel/tyre size?

This is a common question.  Your tyre size should be written on the side of your tyre.  There will be a series of numbers showing the diameter and width.  It will look something like this: 700c x 38.  Or 26” x 1.95.  Occasionally different cycle manufacturers will use a different scale.  If you have any problems working out your tyre size, please call us on 0333 577 0343.  Alternatively, you can email us a picture of the writing on your tyre to customerservice@easifitebikekit.co.uk.

My bike has disc brakes – will the kit still work?

Yes, the kit fits both V brakes (sometimes called rim brakes) and disc brakes.

Why is there a maximum speed of 15.5mph (25 kph)?

The legal speed limit for e-bikes in the UK is 15.5mph. Therefore the kit has a default maximum setting of 15.5mph. It is possible to manually increase the speed up to 35kph (22mph), but this should only be done on private land.

Does the kit accommodate hydraulic breaks?

Yes it does. The kit will automatically sense when the brakes are applied and cuts the power to the motor.
